STM’s Engaged Learning Office is pleased to offer support for up to three students to attend the Mennonite Central Committee’s Ottawa Seminar for Students

Theme: People on the Move: Human Rights and Global Migration

Dates: February 14th to 16th 2019

Location: Ottawa, Canada

STM is offering 3 bursaries of $500 each to help students offset the cost of attending.

How to apply:

1. Fill out the Engaged Learning Office application by December 7th, 2019.
2. Apply to the MCC Student seminar by January 18th, 2019.
3. Send proof of registration to the Engaged Learning Office by January 18th, 2019.
4. Get reimbursed!

Cost of Program:

Registration: $100

Flight: ~$550

Accommodation in Youth Hostel (nights of Feb 13th to 15th): $195 

*Students may choose to stay at a different location (hotel, airbnb, etc) for a higher cost.

Food and drink in Ottawa: Breakfast is included in the price of the hostel, and students receive lunch and snacks at the conference February 14th and 15th. Other meals are out of pocket.
