Learning Communities at St. Thomas More College are small groups of new first-time students led by student mentors and staff. The purpose of our learning communities is to improve the transition experience for new students. Participation in Learning Communities is optional but recommended, especially for traditional aged students.

STM learning communities are interest-based (you don't have to register in specific classes to join our LC) Declared STM students get preference for our learning communities. Students from other colleges who are taking at least one STM class can be admitted to our LCs if space is available.

  • Meet other new students and develop friendships
  • Improve academic outcomes
  • Learn how to access resources for students
