THE 5 P’S OF STM CAMPUS MINISTRY

Prayer

Presence

  • Our commitment to be present is unwavering. We offer a listening ear, whether it is in-person, or virtually, via on-line avenues. We are also present on the Web, at www.stmcollege.ca on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and of course, email. Spiritual support is just a click away!

Programming

  • STM Campus Ministry provides programming that focuses on learning and participation in the following areas: Spiritual development, Community building, Hospitable Catholicism, and Justice and Peace. We have a number of programs while you journey as a student: Weekly Gospel Reflection, Theology on Tap, TED talk time at STM, Prayer services, Rosary, and Ecumenical and Multifaith events.

Partners

  • Partnerships are important to us, and so the activities and events we present are often co-sponsored with student groups like: the Development and Peace Just Youth group, the Newman Exec, the St. Thomas More Students Union, the Ukrainian Students Association, the U. of S. Peer Health Mentors, and Service and Justice students. In addition to these student groups, we also find great partners in the Faith Leaders Council at the U of S, the STM/Newman Alumni Association, the Diocese and the Eparchy of Saskatoon, the Saskatoon Theological Union, and students and campus ministers across the country and the world via Canadian Catholic Campus Ministry (CCCM), the Canadian Catholic Students Association (CCSA), and the IMCS (International Movement of Catholic Students).

Positivity

  • Have you ever run into someone who calls themself a Christian, but then turns around to be crabby, grumpy, judgmental and a real grouch in general? We sure have! Jesus Christ has shown humanity the gift of love and joy, and it is our job to share that with others. Join us in our mission of being positive!
