One of the most important components of your university experience is building your social network. Making friends and social connections has emotional, academic, personal development, and career development benefits. We know that some of you are more introverted and find it more difficult to get connected. Joining a student club at STM is a great way to enhance your student experience, improve your chances of success at universality, and meeting people with common interests.

Most of our student groups welcome new members at any time. Newman Sounds Glee Club accepts new members at the start of the Fall and Winter terms. Newman Players holds open auditions for plays at various times of the year.

Development & Peace Just Youth offers students a chance to learn about global social justice and solidarity through public education, fundraising, and social action campaigns. Be the change you want to see in the world!

In Medias Res is a liberal arts journal published twice a year by the College, includes fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry, photography, and print art. Students may submit their work or get involved with the editorial board.
