Mohyla Lecture
Launched by PCUH in 1994, the Mohyla Lecture series is our most prestigious academic event of the year. The series is devoted to a discussion of Ukrainian heritage and contemporary affairs.
Ukrainian Language Initiatives
The Ukrainian Language Assessment Project is a PCUH initiative designed to introduce the “Common European Framework of Reference” (CEFR) to Ukrainian language educators across Canada.
Community Lecture Series
On an occasional basis, the PCUH invites recognized or leading authorities to speak on topics that relate to Ukraine and the Ukrainian Canadian community.
The purpose of the series is to introduce a wider community to issues concerning Ukraine and the diaspora, in an effort to continue providing a source for education and awareness in our local community.
Oral History Initiatives
Since 2002, the PCUH Oral History Program has actively supported research initiatives in the field of oral history research, with a focus on Ukrainian and Ukrainian Canadian experience, culture, and history.
Conferences and Symposia
The PCUH organizes and sponsors conferences and symposia on a continuing basis, co-operating with other institutions interested in exploring the Ukrainian experience through scholarly and public discussion.
Ukrainian Artists Invitational
The PCUH provides an invaluable opportunity for invited artists to share their most recent work with the public by way of workshops, presentations, or performances, as a means to promote a wider appreciation of the Ukrainian arts scene.
