Indigenous Graduate Student Fellowship

The Indigenous Graduate Student Fellowship at St. Thomas More College (STM-IGSF) provides an Indigenous graduate student with opportunities to develop teaching and research skills necessary for a successful academic career. The Indigenous Graduate Student Fellowship emphasizes the importance of community-engaged scholarship and the Teacher-Scholar model. The STM-IGS fellow will work with a mentoring faculty member at St. Thomas More College on opportunities for the fellow to integrate research with teaching.

The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the intellectual life of St. Thomas More College and will be invited to engage with the broader community of the college.

Preference will be given to a graduate student nearing the completion of their program whose area of research focuses on Indigenous issues or culture contributing to the distinctive areas of research of St. Thomas More College.

Graduate Teaching and Research Fellowship

STM offers a Graduate Teaching and Research Fellowship (GTRF) to provide graduate students with an opportunity to engage in learning and scholarship through the development of teaching and research skills necessary for a successful academic study in a chosen field. Availability is limited and the application process is internal. If you are a graduate student please contact your supervisor about the application process.
