Artists enjoy spotlight thanks to mentorship program
Seven area artist will be featured in the STM Gallery this fall as part of the CARFAC program
By Linda StarkSTM Gallery is pleased to present recent work by seven participants of the 2017-2018 CARFAC Mentorship Program from Sept. 3 to Oct. 25.
The CARFAC mentorship program provides support like studio visits, workshops and collaborations for artists in their professional development, as well as opportunities for increased public exposure of their work through exhibitions and other means.
The artists wish to thank their mentors for their encouragement and support: Jordan Baraniecki (mentor Alison Norlen), Shelby Lund (mentor Nancy Lowry), Danahe Palacios (mentor Monique Blom), Mike Podiluk (mentor Grant Irons), Karen Polowick (mentor Terry Billings), Derek Sandbeck (mentor Clint Neufeld), Wendy Sharpe (mentor Marie Lannoo).
A reception is planned for Friday, Sept. 27 from 7-9 pm.
