Her talk was titled 'The Self, Agents and Actors; A Realist Conception of the Human Person.'
Dr. Archer, who holds posts in London, Norway, Spain and Warsaw, spoke about Personal Identity and how we define ourselves, and our interactions with nature, artefacts and society, spurring a lively exchange of ideas during the following question period.
The Keenan Lecture honours the memory and achievements of Dr. Micheal Keenan, who was STM's first dean, and who passed away in 1986. The lecture series is presented by a distinguished visitor on topics reflecting the range of disciplines at STM College.
