Dr. Carl Still named Vice-Chair ACCUC

The Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities in Canada (ACCUC) announces the selection of its new executive for 2022-2024.

April 20, 2022, The Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities in Canada (ACCUC) announced the selection of its new executive for 2022-2024.

Dr. John Cappucci has been selected as Chair of the ACCUC. Dr. Cappucci currently serves as Principal and Vice-Chancellor of Assumption University in Windsor, Ontario.

Dr. Carl N. Still, President St. Thomas More College (STM), University of Saskatchewan, has been selected as Vice-Chair.

The ACCUC expressed its gratitude to Dr. Peter Meehan, President of St. Jerome’s University in Waterloo for his service as Chair of the ACCUC since 2020. Dr. Meehan successfully navigated the ACCUC over the past two years. Dr. Meehan will now serve as Immediate Past Chair acting as an advisor to the new executive.

The ACCUC additionally congratulated its new executive and wished both John and Carl much success as they take up these important leadership roles in Catholic higher education.

The Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities in Canada (ACCUC) is an organization of Roman Catholic institutions of higher education located across all parts of Canada. The ACCUC acts as the official voice for Catholic higher learning in Canada, as it seeks to spread “the spirit of learning” throughout the country.
