President Still Platinum Jubilee Medal Recipient

Recognizing outstanding Saskatchewanians who have contributed to a strong, vibrant society and province

Congratulations to St. Thomas More College (STM) President Carl Still, recognized this past weekend with a Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal (Saskatchewan). Tim McLeod, Provincial Secretary, Government of Saskatchewan presented the medal. Minister of Advanced Education Gordon Wyant was also in attendance at this special award presentation.

The Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal (Saskatchewan) was created to celebrate the 70th anniversary year of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Accession to the Throne, which began on February 6, 2022.

The Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal (QPJM) recognizes outstanding Saskatchewanians who have contributed to a strong, vibrant society and province through their service, contributions, and achievements. Medals will be awarded at ceremonies held throughout the province during the Platinum Jubilee year ending on February 23,2023.

At the December 18 event, approximately 90 Saskatoon residents received the Platinum Jubilee Medal recognizing their contributions. Those celebrated received a circular medal with a red, white, and blue ribbon as well as a certificate.
